GR&S is built on the foundation that hard work rewards itself. The company originated as a family business in Elizabeth City, NC over 35 years ago and has corporate headquarters located in Raleigh, NC. GR&S operates as an unlimited, unclassified contractor with specialized expertise in utilities. With offices in both Elizabeth City and Raleigh, we serve Central and Eastern North Carolina.

The GR&S Team is built to exceed expectations in construction, and the management team drives progress with a clear vision of each project in its entirety – providing quality construction management of commercial, industrial and community projects. Additionally, GR&S builds customized Nucor metal buildings with a wide range of wall covering systems and energy efficient options.
