GR&S, Inc. Names Fran Robertson as Construction Project Manager

RALEIGH, N.C. – Geo. Raper & Son, Inc. (GR&S) announces Fran Robertson has joined the Raleigh office as a project manager of construction projects, including customizable design-build prototypes, rainwater harvesting systems, green building initiatives, and L.E.E.D. certifications.

Prior to joining the GR&S team, Robertson worked with Core Building Company in Garner. Additionally, she has provided freelance residential design and industrial design services for clients across the state. Her previous experience also includes working for Brown and Jones Architecture, Inc. in Raleigh, Art Swords in Bath, Craig Dean Architecture in Raleigh, Architektur PA in Raleigh, and Barbco Inc. in Raleigh.
 
Robertson is a member of the Sierra Club and has a strong interest in green building. Her L.E.E.D. training, combined with her architectural talent, brings valuable perspective to the design-build process and complements GR&S, Inc’s existing services for clients who are interested in meeting standards for the L.E.E.D. certification process.
 
“She has a wealth of knowledge and a strong foundation of experience in architecture which makes her a valuable addition to our team as we continue to focus on economically and environmentally sound design-build solutions for our clients,” said Steve Raper, vice president of GR&S.
 
Robertson has completed both the L.E.E.D. for Existing Buildings Technical Review program and the Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety & Health.  She is a native of Raleigh and earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
