Going Green

Long before “Going Green” received such high public attention, we were taking environmentally conscious internal measures and finding ways to offer our clients energy efficient solutions.

As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, we eagerly recommend that businesses and organizations plan for the long-term as they build today. By evaluating each customers building needs, we can recommend options that are best incorporated from the start. Additionally, we encourage appropriate, updated measures to consider for renovations and addition projects.

Rainwater Harvesting
GR&S now offers the incorporation of commercial Rainwater Harvesting systems for customers who are interested in sustainability and green building options. We can customize a system to meet the varying needs of buildings we construct. The addition of a rainwater harvesting system can also be made to an existing structure. Whenever possible, we encourage early evaluation of options in conjunction with construction designs.

Green Buildings
As a certified Nucor Builder, we have access to one of the largest supplies of recycled steel in the world. Our building systems adhere to Nucor’s G.R.E.E.N. policy and include a vast number of energy efficient choices.

Working with knowledgeable architects and vendors, we’ve put a system in place to offer you quality options. Our design-build prototypes can save time and money by developing the design and construction plan together from the start.
